My incoming email has been awash with one oops after another. All from internet marketing “gurus” claiming rather weakly that a previous email contained a “error” of sorts. And the follow-up email was of course to just clarify and clear the air of any misapprehension.
And I am not alone. The pulse of the Internet Marketing forums is beating out the war drums. This latest tactic from self proclaimed marketing leaders has got the natives restless.
We offer our email address in good faith on the promise it will not be spammed or abused. Telling outright lies in order to stuff yet another email invitation to buy down our collective throats is in breach of good faith.
I admit to being a little amused by how this tactic spread like a bush fire. Noting down the names one by one of the “gurus” plying this shonky email trade makes interesting reading. And you what they say about credibility lost.
